EMS „Prototype“ – Synthi Keyboard KB1
Digitana hat kürzlich dieses Unikat von Yes erworben, eine Prog Rock Band, die einziger Besitzer dieses Synthesizers ist – Technisch ist er sehr nahe an Synthi A und VCS3 – aber mit einer kleinen Tastatur. Ein bisschen Boutique Feeling. Eigentlich ist er auch kein „Prototyp“, sondern ein funktionierendes Instrument, was niemand sonst besitzt, weil es eben nie ein Produkt wurde.
this EMS prototype is unique – there is only one made – for „Yes“ and Digitana just bought it from them or someone – it’s basically the Synthi A with another layout and minikeys. So it’s quite a modern approach – Microkorg-Style. It’s not exactly a „prototype“ since it works and was ready to be sold – but never made it to the market.
